Production Specialist (Assembly)

HSBMA•Kingston, GA
•$65,000 - $80,000

About The Position

The Production Specialist (Assembly) supports assembly operations at an EV battery manufacturing plant by managing material schedules, monitoring equipment performance, and assisting with Design of Experiments (DOE) testing. The role helps maintain smooth production through resource management and data-driven process analysis. The specialist monitors production data to identify bottlenecks and operational losses, analyzes yield degradation and equipment downtime, and supports line improvements. The position uses MES to track production and monitor processes, and prepares reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, and Spotfire. It also supports operator skill management, material flow and supply stability, and coordination, execution, documentation, and follow-up for DOE tests. Work takes place in office, production, and construction-site environments. Production areas may involve noise above 90 dB, temperatures of 104–122°F, and potential exposure to hazardous materials. PPE is required in controlled production areas; required items include cleanroom suits and masks, and production-site PPE may include safety shoes, a helmet, safety glasses, and a portable gas measuring device. Company-provided uniforms are required in office and production settings.
