About The Position

The Production Assembly position places components on a production line according to operations standards and assembles components using bolts, clips, screws, or other fastening methods. The role also participates in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, and Six Sigma, and performs other duties as assigned.

The work involves standing for at least eight hours and repeatedly reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and extending the upper body. The role requires lifting 35 to 75 pounds and carrying items a short distance. Employees must be flexible across shifts, departments, and positions, and may need to work overtime.

Requirements

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations with customers, clients, and other associates.
• Perform basic arithmetic, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing with 10s and 100s, using weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Possess organizational, priority and time management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Lift 35 to 75 pounds and carry items a short distance.
• Stand for at least eight hours and perform tasks requiring continuous reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and upper-body extension.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a quality-minded approach.
• Be flexible in shifts, departments, and positions.
• Work overtime if needed.
