About The Position

Production Shop Floor Support for Digital, Hardware, Software, Infrastructure and users. This role involves owning IT operations for the manufacturing site, focusing on shop floor systems and applications. The individual will ensure the performance, reliability, and availability of the site's IT infrastructure and applications, acting as the Site IT lead and a member of the shop leadership team. Key activities include implementing the site IT/digital roadmap, driving continuous improvement, partnering with business leaders to understand IT needs, and managing Digital Workplace technologies. The role also encompasses deploying, managing, and supporting shop floor PCs and related hardware, as well as printers, MFPs, on-site A/V, and telecommunications equipment. Providing on-site support for networking infrastructure, coordinating infrastructure work with central IT/DT teams, and participating in lean, cost-saving, and technology refresh projects are also crucial. Additionally, the role requires responding to cybersecurity threats, supporting security best practices, and escalating IT/DT issues impacting production, including providing on-call support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years of IT support or infrastructure experience (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
  • Experience supporting PCs, printers, and basic network infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments and teams
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and drive change
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, granted asylee or refugee status)
