The Production Shift Supervisor leads a team during a shift to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient chemical plant operations. The role supports environmental, health and safety (EHS), production, and maintenance activities by guiding the team, improving processes, and helping build a high-performing work environment. The position is permanent, with shift hours from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. MST and a salary range of $85,000–$95,000 per year.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in chemical plant operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Problem-solving skills to improve plant performance.
• Experience with SAP maintenance systems.

• Knowledge of PSM and RCMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift teams to meet safety, environmental, and production goals.
• Act as Incident Commander during emergencies.
• Monitor performance indicators and optimize processes.
• Ensure procedures are followed and updated.
• Coach and evaluate team members to build a high-performance culture.
• Participate in root cause analysis and reliability reviews.
• Support continuous improvement and plant optimization.
• Perform technician duties when needed.
• Identify training needs and support development initiatives.
