About The Position
Sika is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead a team and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient chemical plant operations during the assigned shift. The supervisor supports Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), production, and maintenance activities by guiding the team, improving processes, and contributing to a high-performing work environment. The role also performs technician duties when needed. The salary range is $85,000–$95,000 per year, and the shift hours are 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. MST.
Requirements
- 5+ years in chemical plant operations.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to improve plant performance.
- Experience with SAP maintenance systems.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of PSM and RCMS.
Responsibilities
- Lead shift teams to meet safety, environmental, and production goals.
- Act as Incident Commander during emergencies.
- Monitor performance indicators and optimize processes.
- Ensure procedures are followed and updated.
- Coach and evaluate team members to build a high-performance culture.
- Participate in root cause analysis and reliability reviews.
- Support continuous improvement and plant optimization.
- Perform technician duties when needed.
- Identify training needs and support development initiatives.
