About The Position

The Production Scheduler is responsible for scheduling finished goods, individual components and outside processing to support production. The role operates in a high-volume high-mix machine shop environment and must be capable of managing multiple projects at once. This individual must be capable of operating in a high stress constantly varying environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel to start is required and knowledge of INFOR visual is desirable. This is an individual contributor role.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel
• Basic understanding of a Manufacturing environment and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business or other related field
• Experience scheduling in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the firearms industry
• PMP/CPIM/CSCP (or similar certifications)
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar data visualization tools
• Experience with Infor ERP system
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of finished goods, pieces parts and outside processes
• Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis and resolve critical path
• Utilize metrics to report to leadership and track success
• Participate in the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
