Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in production planning/scheduling (manufacturing required)
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning
  • Strong understanding of shop floor constraints
  • Strong understanding of production flow and bottlenecks
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (data analysis, formulas, reporting)
  • Bilingual (French and English – spoken and written)

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage daily and short-term production schedules based on demand, capacity, and priorities
  • Lead daily production meetings and follow up on schedule adherence and constraints
  • Analyze capacity, cycle times, bottlenecks, and material availability to maintain achievable production plans
  • Adjust schedules in real time to address urgencies, delays, and operational constraints
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams
  • Define required manpower and equipment allocation to meet production targets
  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of ERP data (work orders, routings, planning parameters)
  • Create and maintain production reports and KPIs (schedule adherence, throughput, capacity utilization, etc.)
  • Contribute to capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives
