Our mission: Make Complicated Simple™. The Door Production Scheduler plans and prepares the production schedule for all departments in the door shop and/or pre-finish shop.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED), experience of at least one-year (preferred) or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- The ability to communicate clearly, effectively present information in one on one or small group situations. Ability to communicate in Spanish may be a requirement depending upon location.
- Ability to understand basic math skills including fractions, decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.
- Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Type by touch, 30 words per minute (WPM).
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Works with Shop Manager to ensure that appropriate personnel and assets are available
- Reviews printed workorders from the BisTrack to ensure accuracy and works with sales to make appropriate changes as needed
- Organize and distribute work orders to correct personnel
- Assist in door/or pre-finish shops as needed
