About The Position
Major Manufacturer is seeking a professional Production Scheduler to organize and disseminate information to achieve maximum efficiency in production activities.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Business administration, supply chain, or relevant experience
- Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems, Project Management Tools, and Excel features such as tables, filters, and sorting.
- Analytical mindset and able to turn information into useful, pertinent information.
- Ability cooperate and function within a team of engineers & production personnel.
- Strong Professional demeanor and strong verbal & written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Compile information from various sources into a master schedule.
- Improve communication methods and scheduling processes.
- Increase visibility of information to the plant floor.
- Check progress of work on floor and report in master schedule.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of work and materials between departments.
- Evaluate ‘make-to-stock’ inventory and its impact on production.
- Closely track status details on jobs to ensure timely delivery.
