About The Position

ASAHI BEER USA | OCTOPI BREWING is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their team in Waunakee, Wisconsin. This full-time role is crucial for keeping the entire production operation running smoothly, from raw ingredients to finished products. The Production Scheduler will act as the 'Behind-the-Scenes Brain' for the company, ensuring that beer and other beverages are produced and packaged on schedule. Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has grown significantly and is now the U.S. production home of Asahi Super Dry. The company boasts a state-of-the-art facility and a team of over 250 professionals dedicated to maintaining a local, quality-first spirit. As Octopi scales production for Asahi Super Dry and continues to serve its contract clients, the Production Scheduler will be at the center of coordinating efforts across various departments, including cellar, packaging, procurement, and client-facing teams. This is a high-visibility role offering significant ownership over operational efficiency and an opportunity to grow supply chain expertise within the brewing industry.

Requirements

• 2+ years of production scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience
• Strong Excel skills, with experience using ERP, MRP, or production scheduling systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree related to supply chain
• Experience in beverage, food, CPG, contract manufacturing, or brewery operations

Responsibilities

• Build and adjust master production schedules based on demand, forecasts, and inventory targets
• Coordinate across cellar, packaging, procurement, and client teams to keep production running efficiently
• Plan weekly yeast pitches, manage yeast generations, and keep ordering on track
• Jump in with solutions when production hits a snag — equipment issues, packaging delays, last-minute changes
• Keep stakeholders across departments in the loop on schedule changes and priorities
