About The Position

Villari Food Group is seeking a hard-working, disciplined Production Scheduler to join their team in Warsaw, North Carolina. The primary job duties of this role include coordinating schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective operation of Villari Food Group. This position is ideal for someone with previous experience as a scheduler in a fast-paced warehouse environment, who is a fantastic problem solver and enjoys working closely with others to make process improvements.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with production planning systems, such as MRP II.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 to 5 years' related experience.

Experience in a manufacturing and/or processing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.
Collaborate with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
Periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; use judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
Integrate sales orders with master schedule; coordinate availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
Maintain master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revise and alert appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
Participate in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.
