About The Position

FALCATA is seeking a Production Scheduler in Huntsville, Alabama. The role creates, maintains, and adjusts production schedules based on customer demand, inventory, and capacity constraints. It coordinates with production teams and procurement to keep schedules achievable and materials available, monitors work in progress and production performance, communicates schedule changes, and supports planning improvements, process optimization, and forecasting. The position also maintains accurate manufacturing-order, lead-time, and capacity-planning data in relevant systems.

Requirements

Previous experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or related operations roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling tools.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Advanced proficiency with Excel, Project, or data analysis tools.
Experience with Costpoint and Aegis Factory Logix.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure schedules are achievable and aligned with operational goals.
Monitor work in progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend adjustments.
Communicate schedule changes to relevant departments in a timely and clear manner.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability and resolve shortages.
Track performance metrics, including on-time delivery, throughput, and schedule adherence.
Assist with planning improvements, process optimization, and production forecasting.
Maintain accurate system data, including manufacturing orders, lead times, and capacity planning.
