About The Position

This new hire will work at the Maryland Manufacturing Center, located in Belcamp, MD. The Production Sanitor will report to a Quality Team Manager. Requirements

Basic knowledge of uses of cleaning devices and chemicals
Ability to follow through on assigned task with minimal supervision
Ability to lift 50 lbs on a daily basis and sustain physical work
Basic knowledge of equipment/machinery
High school diploma or equivalent
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to operate a floor scrubber
Scissor lift certification or ability to be trained on scissor lift
PAPR use may be required

Experience working in food manufacturing

Responsibilities

Completing environmental sanitation tasks during line changeovers
Operation of floor scrubber in production and warehouse common areas
Daily trash removal from production area to include pallets, drums, and bags
Daily maintenance of handwashing/boot scrubbing vestibules cleanliness and supplies
Floor drain cleaning
PIT and scrubber cleaning
Management of wash bay and all activities within
Back-up operator for trash compactor
Help develop and revise sanitation procedures
Adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule
Other duties including entry-level line positions (e.g. pack-off and equipment disassembly) as assigned
