About The Position

The Production Sanitation Utility works as part of a team to safely produce quality Sargento products. The role involves reading production orders, communicating accurately, supporting food safety and quality standards, and assisting with setup and placement of production equipment. Employees work alongside automated equipment and may use cleaning chemicals to sanitize equipment and production areas. The position is for a high school senior and is scheduled for 16–24 hours per week on the second shift, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, with every-other-Saturday work as needed. The facility is refrigerated, and work may involve loud machinery, moving parts, robotics, and wet or humid conditions during sanitation.

Requirements

Must be a high school senior.
Must be 18 years or older.
Be punctual, self-starting, professional in both team and individual work, and willing to take direction.
Have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn new skills.
Be willing to complete forklift certification upon hire.
Be able to learn and carry out lockout/tagout procedures as required.
Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Be able to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.
Be able to work in a cold environment.
