About The Position

This position is responsible for the production operation and will unload and wash all trailers and reefers, monitor cookers and soap and wash all areas of the plant. Drive yard truck to transport trailers and reefers on the yard and load finish product. Check lubrication on machinery, change oil and belts on gear boxes, perform equipment PM and auger inspections while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A current Arkansas Driver’s License
  • Must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Shoveling
  • Climbing stairs and ladders up to 30 feet
  • Bending, stretching, reaching
  • Working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
  • Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high-pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance skills such has mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, wiring, motor controls, and conveyor maintenance
  • Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations
  • Must have the ability to document information
  • Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally
  • Mechanical/maintenance skills and experience listed in work history or skills section on application
  • Willing to work shift A, B, C, or D
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
  • Pass a urinalysis screening
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
