About The Position

Lightel Technologies, Inc. is hiring a full-time Production & QA Technician in Renton, Washington. The technician builds, tests, and inspects products across the company’s equipment and inspector product lines, and supports QA and ISO quality-system tasks. The role includes product assembly and troubleshooting, process improvement, production documentation and records, inspections, and support for equipment calibration and quality-system documentation.

Requirements

Associate degree (AA or AS), preferably in a technical field.
Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills, including data entry and email.
Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly in English.
Strong hands-on skills and ability to work independently.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience in electronics, optical, or precision-equipment assembly.
Prior QA, inspection, or incoming-inspection experience.
Working knowledge of an ISO quality system, such as ISO 9001.
Soldering or IPC-style workmanship experience.
Knowledge of nonconformance (NCR) and corrective-action processes.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, and repair products.
Improve product assembly processes.
Find and resolve technical problems in a timely manner; support users with product troubleshooting and failure analysis.
Assist in creating, modifying, and testing new products and processes.
Create and maintain production work instructions and user manuals.
Prepare and maintain production-related drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and inventory records.
Perform incoming-material checks and in-process and final inspections across different product lines.
Help maintain ISO quality-system records and support equipment calibrations.
