About The Position

The QA Technician performs quality assurance activities involving product sampling and testing, production and equipment inspections, document review and auditing, and training. The role submits samples daily for finished goods and validation studies; checks production areas, equipment, product labels, and finished-goods status; reviews test results and production documentation; audits Batch Production Records; and supports training on validation protocols and cGMP.

Requirements

Great attendance.
Two years of experience in Quality Assurance or production; experience in the pharmaceutical and/or dietary supplements industry is preferred.
Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word-processing software such as Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Submit samples daily for finished goods and validation studies.
Inspect production areas before production begins on a product.
Inspect equipment before production begins and sign cleaning log books.
Check production labels for the correct label, expiration date, and lot number against the Batch Production Record.
Inspect finished goods in the shipping area to confirm the correct QC status, such as Quality Hold.
Review test results and file them with the Batch Production Record and Validation Protocol as required.
Review production Batch Production Records for completeness.
Review Validation Protocols to ensure they are ready when production starts.
Audit Batch Production Records for completeness before submitting them to the QA Supervisor.
Conduct training as needed for validation protocols.
Understand, review, and participate in cGMP training.
