Production Programmer - Nucor Towers & Structures
About The Position
The Production Programmer at Nucor Towers & Structures Inc is responsible for creating nesting programs for hardware, shells, etc. in plate and coil for production needs. This role involves entering these programs into the ERP software for consumption, collaborating with the production control team to manage the production schedule, and verifying and staging raw materials and consumables for job-specific production processes. Safety is paramount in this role, and candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficient in ProNest, Alma Cam, or similar CNC part nesting software.
- Proficience in AutoCAD
- Profiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and procedures.
- Steel burn/laser table experience.
- Production tracking and production planning experience.
- D-365 experience.
