About The Position

Goodwill Central Coast is hiring a full-time Production Processor at its SLO Headquarters in San Luis Obispo, California. The role processes donated goods through sorting, grading, pricing, tagging, and packaging so items can be directed to the appropriate sales or recycling channel. The work supports Goodwill Central Coast’s mission of creating jobs, removing barriers to employment, and helping people build brighter futures across the Central Coast. The position is entry level, on the day shift, and pays $16.90–$17.43 per hour. Travel is described as negligible. The role may also involve working with clients assigned for vocational services, as requested.

Responsibilities

Sort and grade textiles and clothing into predetermined classifications, including men’s, women’s, children’s, and other textiles, and assess quality for Ecommerce, retail store, Outlet, or recycling channels.
Sort and grade hard goods, including glassware and small wares, for Ecommerce, retail store, Outlet, or recycling channels.
Place incomplete or broken items into appropriate containers for the Outlet, recycling, or trash.
Process and test electrical items and classify them for Ecommerce, retail store, Outlet, or recycling channels.
Price items that meet established quality standards.
Tag qualifying items with the appropriate price tags or labels.
Work with clients assigned for vocational services, as requested.
Perform related duties as assigned.
