About The Position
Join Life Fitness / Hammer Strength as a Production Powder Coater on 1st Shift and help build high-quality fitness equipment that customers around the world depend on. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you'll play an important part in ensuring products meet our quality standards through powder coating, inspection, preparation, and finishing activities in a collaborative production environment.
Requirements
- Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience.
- Ability to safely use power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Apply powder coatings to components and finished products according to quality standards.
- Mask parts and prepare surfaces for coating.
- Load and unload parts throughout the coating process.
- Buff surfaces and remove weld splatter as needed.
- Inspect painted and powder-coated parts to ensure quality expectations are met.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining powder coating equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures and quality requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.
