About The Position

We are looking for a Powder Coater to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and powder coating sheet metal components and finished products while ensuring they meet quality and customer specifications. This is a hands-on position that plays an important part in the final appearance, durability, and quality of our products. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Previous powder coating required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sheet metal parts and components for powder coating.
• Clean, inspect, and properly prepare surfaces prior to coating.
• Operate and monitor powder coating equipment and related systems.
• Apply powder coating evenly and according to established specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for proper coverage, color, thickness, and overall quality.
• Load and unload parts from the coating line, racks, and/or conveyor system.
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or coating issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain proper powder coating application settings and equipment.
• Follow established safety procedures and proper PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete quality checks and production documentation as required.
• Work closely with other manufacturing team members to meet production schedules.
• Follow work instructions, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
