About The Position
JELD-WEN is a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-performance interior and exterior doors, windows and related building products serving the new construction and repair and remodeling sectors. We currently have a position available for Inventory Control Coordinator to assist our manufacturing division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.
Requirements
- Previous inventory control experience
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
- Previous clerical experience in a warehouse/transportation setting
- Leadership capability
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately maintaining detailed records of inventory, including: physical inventory, orders, transfers and cycle counts
- Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels
- Ability to critically think and research discrepancies, as it relates to inventory levels
- Reconcile quantity discrepancies between stock and record
- Develops, recommends, and implements new processes and procedures when necessary
- Works with operations leadership to ensure warehouse procedures are followed, as it relates to inventory used and maintaining rack items
- Lead teams to perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate levels
- Assists with physical inventory maintenance, planning and execution
