About The Position

The Production Planner develops and maintains production schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory, and material availability. The role partners with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Purchasing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support on-time delivery, optimize inventory, improve schedule attainment, and advance operational excellence.

Requirements

• ERP/MRP experience is required.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Cross-functional communication skills.
• Customer focus.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of planning, supply chain, or manufacturing experience.
• Oracle experience.
• Lean experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and capacity.
• Review forecasts, inventory, and material availability to create achievable production plans.
• Monitor schedule attainment and adjust priorities as business needs change.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Quality to resolve production constraints.
• Maintain planning data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Analyze KPIs, including on-time delivery, inventory, and schedule adherence.
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
