About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Planner. This role is located at our Waukesha, WI site. No relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $101000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • Accurate work order management.
  • Establish, maintain, and ensure proper execution of a valid production schedule.
  • Creation, releasing, printing, and oversight of all orders for each assigned product family.
  • Analyze resource capacity and other constraints to optimize through-put, minimize manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieve on-time delivery goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing).
  • Assist the Master Production Scheduler (MPS) in determining and maintaining forecast and safety stock levels.
  • Direct daily work flow (WIP – “work in process”) through analysis of reports and input from cross-functional teams.
  • Align and set priorities for the production plan considering shared resources across factory to maximize efficiency and material flow to ensure customer orders ship on time.
  • Accumulate daily parts/material information to analyze and establish dates to meet and exceed customer delivery requirements.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing.
  • Own metrics of manufacturing on-time delivery (OTM), through-put, and past due order reduction.
  • Participate in and lead business processes improvement events such as Continuous Improvement Framework, kaizens and workshops in order to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling/planning function.
  • Actively participate in process improvement and creation/adhering to standard work.
  • Establish optimal internal procurement strategies to achieve desired service, while utilizing just in time inventory management philosophies.
  • Manage Assigned Projects utilizing a cross functional team.

Responsibilities
