About The Position

The Production Planner develops, coordinates, and monitors production plans to meet customer requirements and business objectives efficiently and on schedule. The role optimizes the use of manpower, materials, equipment, and manufacturing capacity while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery expectations. It serves as a liaison among Operations, Customer Service, Industrial Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support execution, mitigate risks, and improve processes. The position involves creating production schedules, monitoring resources and progress throughout production, supporting dependent process steps, and ensuring timely completion of production orders. The planner anticipates production risks, develops contingency plans, promotes compliance with processes and procedures, and communicates proactively with stakeholders. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

At least 2 years of production material handling experience in an electronic assembly environment.
Familiarity with and understanding of relevant ISO requirements.
Effective written and verbal communication in English.
Proficiency in SAP.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Ensure manpower, materials, and equipment are efficiently utilized to meet production goals.
Create production schedules and timelines to meet production targets.
Help streamline production processes and minimize downtime.
Work with cross-functional teams, including CST, Industrial Engineering, Production, Warehouse, and QC/PQE, to create production plans and ensure timely completion of production orders based on available resources.
Supervise resources and production progress throughout the production process, collaborating with dependent key interfaces.
Anticipate and mitigate production risks, including equipment failures, supply chain disruptions, and capacity bottlenecks, and develop contingency plans.
Ensure compliance with processes and procedures and help optimize production processes with dependent key interfaces.
Communicate proactively with stakeholders and facilitate the exchange of required information between operations and the customer organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
