About The Position

This role supports large body and small body engines as well as RGBs utilizing standard production planning process and procedures. Qualified applicants will be providing after hours support for all product lines.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in production systems (ERP, excel, MS applications) in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment, preferably turbo machinery.
  • Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
  • Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (1-3 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
  • Knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices; ability to determine product demand and estimate production requirements and loads.
  • Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs; ability to utilize knowledge of daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules work for production and monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle.
  • Coordinate the necessary inventory to support the work scheduled.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting planned production scheduling problems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate customer and business requirements.
  • Releasing work orders to the shop.
  • Completes status reports, such as production progress, WIP and materials inventory.
