About The Position

Huntsman is seeking a Production Planner supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in McIntosh, AL. This position will report to the Site Supply Chain Manager. The production planner maintains production schedules to optimize inventory levels that meet customer requirements and minimize inventory carrying costs, in accordance with plans generated through the IBP Demand/Supply Planning processes. This role works closely with operations management to ensure adherence to plan and coordinate changes as needed, balancing demand requirements with production capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• SAP / ERP software process knowledge
• Knowledge in SIOP and IBP processes
• Must be proficient in MS Office software specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power BI and BI Launch pad a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in SAP or related ERP planning system
• APICS Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Material Planning & Forecasting
• Inventory Management at Batch Level
• Production & Cross Functional Support
• Maintains master data in SAP and support launch of New Products.
• Respond to change in the plan in a timely manner with the ability to quantify the impact of these changes to the Key stakeholders.
• Own and report on key KPIs, to include OTIF, DIO, SLOB, etc.
• Provide input to IBP process in developing inventory strategies on existing and new products.
• Support internal and external audits, including SOX audits
