About The Position

Strive Pharmacy is hiring a full-time Production Pharmacist in San Antonio, Texas. The pharmacist will review, verify, and dispense custom compounded medications, combining precision and regulatory compliance to support safe, individualized care. The role includes performing formula calculations, inspecting compounded lots and individual prescriptions, counseling patients, and advising prescribing providers on therapy and dosing. The position is onsite and scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The stated annual salary range is $125,000–$135,000. Strive describes its work as focused on personalized compounding, individualized patient care, and partnerships with patients and providers.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy.
Active Texas pharmacist license.

Nice To Haves

Fulfillment experience in a retail setting or equivalent.
Experience in compounding.
Understanding of aseptic technique.
Familiarity with USP guidelines.

Responsibilities

Check entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Perform calculations to ensure formula ingredients are measured and used properly.
Visually inspect lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs.
Visually inspect individual prescriptions for color, consistency, and general appearance.
Counsel patients.
Guide providers on appropriate therapy and dosing for individualized care.
