Production Packer
About The Position
The Production Packer packs breads and bakery products to preserve product quality, prevent breakage, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. The role also supports customer service, product quality, food safety, sanitation, and smooth shift transitions while upholding La Farm’s values and standards. The position works 2 AM–10 AM on varied days, Monday through Sunday. Responsibilities
- Embody La Farm values through actions, example, and communication, including exceeding customer expectations and supporting quality, dignity, community, learning, teaching, and innovation.
- Provide friendly, energetic service to internal and external customers, greet customers, build professional relationships, and use product knowledge and suggestive selling to support sales.
- Demonstrate knowledge of bread, pastry, baked goods, coffee, cheese, and specialty goods to support sales, up-selling, sampling, pairing, merchandising, and product presentation.
- Pack breads and bakery products to maintain quality, prevent breakage, and accurately fulfill customer invoices.
- Report customer complaints and inquiries to the manager on the day they are received.
- Confirm product quality before packing and inspect customers’ product use and shelf life to support La Farm quality standards.
- Set up the next shift for success.
- Meet unit safety and sanitation goals and policies, maintain a grade “A” or better by exceeding health and sanitation inspection standards, and uphold company standards and policies.
- Help ensure safe working conditions and comply with all laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
