About The Position

At Kerry’s Commerce, California facility, the Production Packer works in the Taste Division, helping produce flavors and extracts for food, beverage, and pet nutrition products. This active, fast-paced manufacturing role involves packing liquids, labeling products, and preparing and transporting orders to the warehouse or for shipment to customers. The role emphasizes accurate and productive work while following safety, quality, sanitation, allergen, and manufacturing procedures. The position is onsite and full-time, on a first-shift Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Overtime may be available and is usually not mandatory.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior safety training, safety certification, and experience using stand-up lift trucks are required.
Ability and experience to operate a forklift; ability to operate other equipment required for the position.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 400 pounds using equipment.
Ability to see and distinguish between labels.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of experience in a food, beverage, or chemical production or warehouse environment is ideal.

Responsibilities

Pack products efficiently and accurately, filling them to the correct weights and specifications.
Verify product and shipping labels before orders move forward.
Meet quality, productivity, and safety standards while keeping production moving.
Safely operate equipment, including forklifts, pumps, mixers, and filters.
Monitor materials and keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for production.
Follow manufacturing, sanitation, allergen, and safety procedures to protect product quality.
Track work accurately using SAP and required production processes.
Work reliably with the team to complete orders accurately and on time.
