About The Position

At Solventum, the Production Packer supports production operations, quality standards, and a safe and efficient plant environment. The position is based onsite at Solventum’s Brookings, South Dakota production facility and works an 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift depending on availability. Starting pay is $22.26 per hour, with shift differentials and potential future pay increases. The role contributes to the production of medical and dental products relied on by healthcare providers and patients. Requirements

High school diploma or GED completed before starting, or one year of experience in a production or warehouse role.
Ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English.
Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Ability to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, depending on shift availability.

Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain productivity targets determined by machine rates.
Perform tests to the quality standards specified.
Support the team in packing finished or semi-finished products.
Identify equipment or process issues, troubleshoot basic problems, and escalate issues when appropriate.
Inspect and pack products safely and according to standards.
Follow applicable policies to ensure personal safety.
Communicate effectively in English, including speaking, understanding, and writing.
Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.
