About The Position

As a Production Packer, you will accurately weigh, fill, and label liquid chemical materials while maintaining inventory and quality control using manufacturing computer systems. You will follow packing and labeling procedures, close containers securely, and adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and personal protective equipment requirements. You will work collaboratively to maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Ability to tolerate strong odors and allergens.
Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to frequently lift a 35-pound product hose and frequently move, lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One year of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to instructions and recipes.
Follow packing procedures, including scanning to validate materials, weighing with a weight-assisted computer, testing scales, and using the correct scales.
Use the Weight Assisted Computer, Manufacturing Execution System, and SAP.
Use SAP to inventory containers and enter actual packed amounts, confirm pack-out and scrap loss, and verify delivery quantities against confirmed quantities.
Follow labeling protocols, including printing or reprinting labels, selecting label sizes for container types, placing labels correctly, and disposing of extra or damaged labels properly.
Close containers by crimping them properly and applying tamper-evident seals.
Follow safety protocols, quality standards, and personal protective equipment requirements, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
