We currently have an opportunity for a Production Packer 1 to join our team at our Manufacturing Facility in Huntersville, NC. This role involves supporting the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspecting product for defects, and packing finished goods in correct configuration. The Production Packer plays a very important role on our manufacturing team and will help to create an efficient manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED.
Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
1-2 years as a Packaging Machine Operator.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety, quality procedures and keep productivity standards.
Efficiently maintains the operation of machinery by monitoring codes and dates.
Make minor adjustments/repairs as necessary using appropriate bench and hand tools.
Perform quality checks and makes the necessary adjustments.
Check controls on equipment relating to vacuums, heat, pressures, timing and water flow.
Maintain various records such as production reports, data entry and detailed shift reports.
Check raw materials inventory and informs warehouse of shortages.
Communicate effectively with oncoming shift lead/operator regarding all pertinent information.
Perform other related duties as required or directed by team leader.
