About The Position

We currently have an opportunity for a Production Packer 1 to join our team at our Manufacturing Facility in Huntersville, NC. This role is for the NIGHT SHIFT HOURS. The schedule is a 2/2/3 system, meaning you work approximately 13 days out of the month and get two 3-day weekends off per month. The shifts are 12-hour shifts for Injection Molding, running from 6:15pm to 6:30am. Shift swapping is possible with prior approval and one week's notice.

Requirements

Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
1-2 years as a Packaging Machine Operator.

Responsibilities

Feed material into machines.
Inspect product for defects.
Pack finished goods in correct configuration.
Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety, and quality procedures.
Maintain productivity standards.
Efficiently maintain the operation of machinery by monitoring codes and dates.
Make minor adjustments/repairs as necessary using appropriate bench and hand tools.
Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments.
Check controls on equipment such as vacuums, heat, pressures, timing, and water flow.
Maintain various records such as production reports, data entry, and detailed shift reports.
Check raw materials inventory and inform warehouse of shortages.
Communicate effectively with oncoming shift lead/operator regarding all pertinent information.
Perform other related duties as required or directed by the team leader.
