About The Position

The Production Packaging Associate is an entry-level position responsible for properly packaging materials and finished products, loading and moving material, and operating packaging equipment. The associate follows Good Manufacturing Practices and company manufacturing policies, maintains an organized work area, and supports safe, efficient production. Duties may vary by plant based on equipment and plant design. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

Basic mathematical skills.
Basic computer experience.
Complete Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.
Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Wear the correct personal protective equipment and follow safety policies.
Be punctual and adhere to the work schedule.
Work effectively with others as part of a team.
Follow company General Manufacturing Policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from production lines.
Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them in designated bins.
Place discarded bottles into the grinder, if applicable.
Inspect bottle quality during production, packaging, and labeling, including performing drop tests on designated lines.
Immediately escalate bottle abnormalities, defects, and other quality issues.
Monitor packaging-material supply levels and replenish materials as needed.
Ensure product labeling, bottle descriptions, and packaging meet specific customer requirements.
Move finished goods to the designated area.
Set up and organize workstations efficiently.
Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies to support smooth shift transitions.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
