About The Position

The Production Packaging Associate is an entry-level position responsible for properly packaging materials and finished products. The associate loads and moves material, operates packaging equipment, and follows Good Manufacturing Practices. Duties may vary by plant depending on equipment and plant design. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

Basic mathematical skills.
Basic computer experience.
Complete Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

Wear the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety policies.
Arrive punctually and adhere to the work schedule.
Work effectively with others as part of a team.
Follow company General Manufacturing Policies.
Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from production lines.
Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them in designated bins.
Place discarded bottles into the grinder, when applicable.
Inspect bottle quality during production, packaging, and labeling.
Perform bottle inspections, including drop tests for designated lines.
Immediately escalate bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues.
Monitor packaging material supplies and replenish them as needed.
Ensure product labeling, bottle description, and packaging meet specific customer requirements.
Move finished goods to the designated area.
Set up and organize workstations efficiently.
Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies to support smooth transitions between shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
