Production Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position

The Production Operator is a front-line member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, carrying out production processes that add value and quality to raw materials and create final products. The work includes operating machinery and equipment and packaging finished products. The position is part of the Nutra Blend business, which manufactures and distributes vitamins, trace minerals, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The role is on second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful approach.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas with dust and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
