About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. In cleanroom environments, this role involves operating washing, packaging, vision inspection, and steam sterilizer machines, along with other auxiliary equipment to support these processes. The operator will also interact with SAP systems to produce rubber stoppers in accordance with productivity standards, SOPs, and Work Instructions (WI). Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read and write English in order to understand operating and other related procedures and to complete all position related documentation.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.
Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Operates washing, packaging, vision inspection, steam sterilizer machines and other auxiliary equipment to support the washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes including SAP interactions in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards.
Adheres to all safety rules in accordance with SOP’s, GMP as well as federal, state and local safety regulations.
Demonstrates Company values and Code of Conduct.
Maintains regular attendance and punctuality to meet production needs.
Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary).
Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality, works conscientiously and accurately, recognizes details, identifies problems in time and strives to solve them.
Collaborates on DPS initiatives for continuous improvement.
Works under the guidance of Supervisor or Crew Leader to perform and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
Ensures equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition and work area is clean, safe, and organized.
Monitors equipment performance and recommends improvements.
Follows organizational and work-specific instructions, attends applicable trainings and meetings.
Fulfills tasks efficiently and in due course, meets productivity standards (where defined), and organizes and performs work effectively.
Abides by safety regulations at all times, promotes safety standards at the workplace and in the team, identifies potential safety risks and reports them actively to the line manager.
