About The Position

The Production Operator - Board role operates production equipment in a manufacturing setting and helps ensure products meet quality specifications. The operator follows safety and housekeeping requirements, troubleshoots equipment, makes necessary adjustments, records production data, and applies basic maintenance skills to service equipment. The position also participates in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision. Scheduling may include shiftwork, overtime, and weekends where applicable. Pay may be adjusted based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting and follow plant safety and housekeeping rules.
• Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency in taking measurements to verify products meet specifications.
• Basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools and their proper use.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills with coworkers.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Follow all manufacturing safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Operate production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to meet product and quality specifications.
• Record production data and other results as required.
• Apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
• Participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
• Adapt to scheduling requirements, including shiftwork, overtime, and weekend work where applicable.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
