About The Position

The Production Operator - Board role operates production equipment in a manufacturing setting, troubleshooting and making adjustments to ensure products meet quality specifications. The position records production data and results, applies basic maintenance skills to service equipment, and participates in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives. The operator must adapt to scheduling requirements, including shiftwork, overtime, and weekends where applicable. Pay may be adjusted based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting and follow plant safety and housekeeping rules.
• Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to take measurements to verify products meet specifications.
• Basic maintenance skills and familiarity with the proper use of common hand tools, including hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and putty knives.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills with coworkers.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
