The role is based in South Brunswick, NJ (onsite) and supports 2nd shift (3:30 PM–11:50 PM) and 3rd shift (11:30 PM–7:50 AM), Monday–Friday, with required overtime as needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of chemical process manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Experience with powders compounding preferred
  • Strong basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Ability to accurately weigh materials to 0.001 grams and use the metric system
  • Ability to follow written instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to wear a respirator and operate forklifts or mechanical equipment
  • Ability to lift 25 kg containers and handle 200 kg drums and 50 kg bags
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-odor environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience compounding powdered flavor or ingredient products
  • SAP experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to quality and detail

Responsibilities

  • Compound solid and liquid flavors by weighing, blending, mixing, sifting, milling, and filling
  • Follow detailed shop floor papers and SOPs to ensure accurate production
  • Maintain cleanliness of processing areas and equipment in compliance with GMP, food safety, and HACCP
  • Accurately weigh raw materials using analytical balances for liquids and powders
  • Backflush raw material usage and process inventory transactions within SAP
  • Fill, label, and process QC samples and finished goods containers
  • Replenish raw material and finished goods inventory as required
  • Participate in cross-training programs, including Rototherm and extrusion operations
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and support other departments
