Fiber Materials Inc. (FMI) is seeking a Production Operator for their Densification team. FMI has been a leading provider of high-temperature materials and composites for over 50 years, serving industries like the Department of Defense and NASA. The Maine facility specializes in multidirectional reinforced Carbon/Carbon (C/C) and Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs) used in critical applications such as thermal protection systems, re-entry vehicle nose tips, and rocket motor throats and nozzles. These materials are integral to major space initiatives like the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle and NASA's Mars 2020 mission heat shield, as well as missile programs, jet engine airfoils, and military vehicle armor. The Production Operator role is for safety and goal-oriented team players who will support the manufacturing team. The schedule is a rotating 4 days on - 4 days off, from 5:45 am to 6:00 pm, with a starting rate of $25/hr.
