About The Position

As a Production Operator at Wis-Pak, you will help ensure products meet quality and safety standards while supporting the smooth operation of packaging lines. The role includes maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing accurate product changeovers, and completing required documentation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Mankato, Minnesota location. Pay is $22.90 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Forklift driving skills and ability to pass the Forklift Operators License test.
Physical ability to walk or stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Willingness to work in temperatures ranging from 60–90°F or more.
Flexibility to work overtime during peak production periods.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis; the company will not sponsor employment visas.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety, health, quality, food safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
Understand and properly operate safety switches, interlocks, and other safety devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
Frequently check product and case codes for accuracy and legibility.
Perform package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
Complete and file required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
