About The Position

The Production Operator supports the operation of packaging lines and helps ensure products meet quality and safety standards. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing accurate package changeovers, checking product and case codes, and completing required quality and packaging documentation. The schedule is 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, in Mankato, Minnesota. Pay is $22.90 per hour.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Forklift driving skills and ability to pass the Forklift Operators License test.
Ability to walk or stand for long periods; bend, stoop, and reach; and lift up to 75 pounds.
Willingness to work in temperatures ranging from 60–90°F or more.

Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

Follow safety, health, quality, food safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
Understand and properly operate safety switches, interlocks, and other safety devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area that meets safety and housekeeping standards.
Check product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
Perform package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
Complete and file required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
