About The Position

This position is for an Production Operator on 1st shift who will work in the Formulation department to support manufacturing of Bio-Rad production pools in compliance with established GMP processes and procedures. Performs directed activities in the Formulation department to assist the manufacture of Core, Hematology and Diabetes product pools and intermediates. Prepares for production by reviewing production schedule; assembling equipment and supplies. Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures Documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches. Performs basic instrument operation and maintenance, etc. Can assist in the troubleshooting instruments/equipment or reagents related issues and coordinates support operations. Can assist the routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Reviews maintenance and/or equipment specific procedures. This position is for a first-shift operator (Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM)

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate lab/test equipment
  • Accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Team player/ flexible/ attentive to detail and quality minded.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic production machinery preferred.
  • Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred

Benefits

  • The estimated hourly range for this position is $17.78 - $24.52 per hour at the time of posting.
