We are seeking a Production Clerk to assist in all activities of ink production. You will serve as the lead person when covering for the shift Supervisor. As a Production Clerk, you will be expected to promote organizational goals and work according to the work instructions, being responsible for: Performing the job duties of an Inkmaker/Ink Technician when not covering for a Shift Supervisor Tending mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials Weighing quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner Possessing a mental and physical working knowledge of all activities on the production floor Demonstrating work in accordance with work instructions Establishing or adjusting work priorities to meet production schedules Explaining production tasks that need to be accomplished for that particular production day Estimating, requesting, and inspecting materials Interacting with personnel in QC, Warehouse and others to accomplish the daily agenda Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product Controlling the movement of production into and out of the department Being committed to participation in the TPM activities of the facility with a clear understanding of all KPI targets Being committed to supporting the TPM activities of all pillars to the plant floor
