This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements. The role involves ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput, completing quality and production reports, and performing physical and visual inspections of product. The operator must report all quality defects and adhere to safety programs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Food Safety Standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining general housekeeping, ensuring adequate raw material levels to minimize downtime, troubleshooting minor production line issues, and performing relief duties. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule is required.
