About The Position

Leer is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Operator to join its production team. The role operates, monitors, and maintains production equipment to support efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing. The operator supports daily production goals by following standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and math skills, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in safely and efficiently using drills, saws, and small hand tools.
• Proficiency in reading and using tape measures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Adherence to all safety policies and protocols.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift 20–50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Ability to safely operate drills, table saws, and hand tools.
• Ability to stand on concrete for up to 10 hours a day.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
• Conduct quality checks and accurately document production data.
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors.
• Meet assigned production targets and deadlines.
