2nd shift Production Operator
About The Position
Moog is hiring an onsite Production Operator for second shift in Blacksburg, Virginia. The role performs basic assembly operations using manufacturing documentation, maintains tools and equipment, conducts electrical testing with automated test equipment, and completes required paperwork and minor rework. The position reports to the Production Manager and requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, preferred, or otherwise demonstrate the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions or training in English and perform basic arithmetic. A quality-conscious approach, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity are also needed.

Responsibilities
- Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation.
- Store, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
- Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment.
- Solder, read blueprints, and use microscopes.
- Complete paperwork for each part accurately and legibly.
- Perform minor rework according to Standard Rework Procedures, Quality History Tag Instructions, or a rework router.
