3rd Shift Production Operator

About The Position

As the Relief DMC Operator, the employee operates the DMC and maintains working knowledge and oversight of the SMC, Boxer, Towers, and Curd Distribution Tank (CDT) for 40# and 640# production. The position pays $27.55 per hour, with a $1.00-per-hour shift differential if applicable, and includes a $2,500 hiring bonus. The scheduled shift is 10:50 p.m. to 6:50 a.m.; weekends, overtime, and holidays may be required as needed. The role requires at least six months of work experience in any industry, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow manufacturers’ specifications and directions. Employees must be at least 18, work safely and collaboratively, follow standard operating procedures, and perform accurately with limited supervision. Production work involves physical activity, personal protective equipment, and exposure to temperature zones that may be cold or hot, and possibly dusty.

Requirements

At least six months of solid work experience in any industry.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow manufacturers’ specifications and directions.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day.
Ability to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Self-reliant and able to work accurately under limited supervision.
Ability to ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.
Customer-focused and able to work collaboratively in a team.
Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
Must promote and work well within a team-based environment.
Must be trained as a HACCP Reviewer and Monitor.
Physical demands include frequent walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
Must be able to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Must be able to work across temperature zones, including cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, and possibly in dusty environments.
Must routinely climb stairs and ladders while performing the role.

Nice To Haves

Experience communicating with supervisors and coworkers in a team environment.
